A Modern Vancouver Wedding at The Pipe Shop

Austin and Emily's Summer wedding at The Pipe Shop in North Vancouver was a chic and modern affair, stunningly executed by my favs at Elyse & Co Events. Set in the bustling Lonsdale Shipyards village, these two chose a beautiful lilac colour palette that added a romantic touch to their special day. I am one who loves a good floral moment, so getting to witness and photograph Celsia Floral’s magic was such a dream!

The morning started with the couple getting ready, where champagne popping and a tearful bridesmaid first look ensued. The girls got ready at the Seaside Hotel which boasted beautiful views of the ocean and Vancouver’s city-scape, where they shared laughs all morning long.

But what really made this wedding stand out was Austin and Emily’s rowdy group of guests that filled the venue with laughter and cheer. These two have been together for over a decade, so this had been a long awaited anticipated moment for their tight knit group of childhood besties. Together we witnessed Emily walk down the aisle and the two of them share heartfelt vows, there was really no dry eye in the room (me included!) The Pipe Shop, with its industrial charm and stunning waterfront views, provided the perfect backdrop for this fun-filled celebration.

As a wedding photographer, it was such a pleasure to capture the love and joy that surrounded Austin and Emily on their big day. From the emotional vows to the energetic dance floor, this was a wedding that will be remembered for years to come. I handpicked some highlights from the day to share, so scroll through to take a peak at all of the stunning details & moments from their day!
